Nero was born to an impoverished family. He had a sibling, a brother, and his name was John. Who was younger by 4 years. Nero's Mother and Father constantly argued over the finances and the future of their two sons. As the violence and hostility occured amongst their parents, Nero was always there to protect his little brother. Sometimes they would  take walks together to get away from the abuse inside the house. Nero was the responsible, protective, caring brother while John had become the rebellious brother.

It was senior year in high school when their father killed their mother out of a drunken rage. Both Nero and John were grief stricken and lost. So, after their father was arrested, Nero and John went on to live with their aunt. John took their mother's death harder than Nero did. Nero just buried the feeling, he had to be the strong older brother and try to set examples. From then on Nero took care of John.

Years later, 5 years to be exact. John was 20 and Nero was 24 at the time had parted ways so they both can try to enjoy having a life for once. John went onto college and graduated. As for Nero, his buried feeling and thoughts began to haunt him and one way of relieving that tension was becoming involved with the occult and dark arts through a secret society. Probably not the best choice for Nero, but for the time being it calmed and relieved stress. Eventually, it became a lifestyle. Altough, he would stay in touch with his brother from time to time and remain close.

One day, Nero recieve a call from John, telling Nero he was going on a spring break road trip. Nero obviously appreciated the heads up. Days passed, then weeks and no phone call from John that he had returned to college. Worried and concerned, Nero decided to search for him. Vigorously and frantically searching for John, cross country, far, and wide. Finally led Nero to Erie Isle. While there, he felt a strong occult presence and was tempting Nero to seek what more he could gain. However, the night he had arrived, Nero was attacked by a werewolf. At the next full moon, he transformed and eventually focused it enough to change at will.

A week later, Nero found the remains of his brother John, mauled and cannibalized.

Grief stricken once again, but this time it was so hard on Nero he was contemplating suicide. His closest friend, the person he cared for during the parental violence was gone from him forever. Nero decided to cope in an unusual manner. He began to give into the evil temptation of the isle, so he could stop hearing the cries of his own pain and agony. A few days later, Nero joined The Muircastle Trust. While a member and its strong occult influence, Nero began experimenting. First by consuming demons blood in self inflicted rituals. After a period of time to its exposure he had developed a demonic influence in his biology. Changing from a typical werwolf into a more supernatural weredemon. Many of the members started to become concerned with the path Nero was treading upon. Then the paranoia started. And the delusions. Nero's mind went from sane to insane and decided to ask Lia to strip him of his humanity once and for all so he could no longer grasp the human concept.

Nero was killed. Soul wandered to Lia. He had become a ghost.

In doing so, the ritual made things worse, Nero became more violent, more hungry for power, and..Souls. While on an endeavor to search for some ritual ingredients he stumbled upon Miranda, a former Brigade member and decided to possess her. Her love was not pleased at all. Thus, Nero was cursed with the hell fire curse. His soul embroiled with hell fire for all enternity. He then let Miranda go and suffered great pain until he took the soul of the co-leader of the Dreadshift, Sea. Hel, the leader's mate was not pleaed and forced Nero to give Sea's soul back. Which he did. Nero later on betrayed the Trust due to his encounter with The Dreadshift. After hearing the many truths and ways of embracing the hell fire curse. Nero became a member of The Dreadshift.
