Their responsibilities are:

Some daily decisions will necessitate a Lead GM to make a call without consulting another Lead. Serious or potentially contentious matters, such as permabans, staff discipline, etc, require a propose that a 50% + 1 vote team decision.

Faction Leaders (Group: Erie Isle Elders):

Faction and Group Leaders are the primary leaders of the individual factions. At this level, most of the activities of the Faction Leader should be in character… roleplayed as the group leader. Responsible for:

•    Recruitment of new members into the factions

•    Develops and assigns a chain of command within each faction
•    As appropriate, initiates group roleplays with other factions
•    Can drop up to 100xp per day

Roleplay Staff

Members of the senior roleplayers group are recruited based on recognition of abilities as roleplayers.  In general, they are responsible for:

•    Proposing, monitoring and executing simwide roleplays
•    Assisting new players with developing characters, getting comfortable in the sim. This includes conducting IC and OOC tours, and assisting the Homeless/New Residents group when needed
•    Engaging newcomers in the sim and keeping them engaged
•    Alerting GM staff to potential problems
•    Able to drop up to 100xp per day on observed roleplays

Roleplay staff, faction leaders and gms are encouraged, when the sim is slow, to initiate events which will keep players engaged and having fun.  More detail is laid out in the "Senior Roleplayer Guidelines."

Mentors

Mentors are organized under the Homeless/New Residents Group.  Their role is primarily focused on helping new players develop their characters and familiarize themselves with the roleplaying environment in Erie Isle.  This is primarily a coaching position.

Greeters

Erie Isle has paid greeters. To become a greeter, please read the Greeters: Getting Started document.  The goal of the greeters are to make the immediate transition for new players very easy.  Assist them with getting their meter, show them the Roleplaying Resource Center, assist with initial questions.
