Erie Isle South:

Graine Windlow's Haven (YELLOW/NEUTRAL ZONE)

In south Erie, it is on one of the smallest plots and is a place for peace, contemplation and creativity.

A labyrinth is laid out in pebbles - some say walking the path to the centre and retracting your footsteps is a mood-altering or spiritual journey.

On the old stone wall that borders the plot, a small Buddha has been placed, a treasure from one of Graine's trips to the Far East. He will impart words of wisdom to those who ask. Opposite Budda is a Storyteller's tree, an aid to creativity. Further back, overlooking the estuary, is an Egyptian-style gazebo, with cushions placed around a fire-pit for those who want to enjoy the low hum of the fireflies and the play of their light on the water, or sit and chat with friends.

Graine does have a house here, built in a Moorish style, though her privacy is protected by a glamour and visitors will not be able to spy it, unless they are very lucky.

Located on the Southeast corner of Erie South, Angel Island is the location of Christ Church and is the home of Journey Maertens.

The entire island is a yellow zone - neutral - and all races are welcome to be out in their natural state without fear of attack.

The church and grounds are open for respectful roleplay. All guests are asked to roleplay as you would in anyone's private residence. If the door is locked, please visit another time and respect the homeowner's privacy.

Off limits are any structures that are not located on the ground or in the church proper. Flight is disabled on this parcel and anyone overriding this to visit the off limits structures will be banned from the parcel. Avatar detectors are located throughout the property and structures.

Items of interest and for RP use are as follows:

*Just inside the main church entrance to the left of the door is a holy water font which distrubutes vials of holy water and the ceremony for making holy water that you may use in your rp.

*In the church sanctuary are:
-a clickable picture of a seraph that will enable avatars to dance [right
side of santuary near entrance]
-pews for prayer, quiet reflection, etc.
-prayer animation at the front, near the podium
-clickable Bible on podium that gives SL Bible

*In vestibule through doors to left of entrance - Herbalist Office:
-Clickable books that give NCs, including Herbal Healing Guide
-Clickable tea service on fireplace that give a variety of herbal teas
-Couch in front of fireplace for reading, reflection or relaxation

*In vestibule through doors to right of entrance - Library
-Couch and fireplace and various reading materials - click around to find them all![eventually a chess
set if i can find a low prim one :p]

*In basement:
-Dungeon with couch, fireplace and cuddle rug
-Treasure chest with goodies

*Second floor:
-Angel quarters - Journey's living space
-Two very cozy fireplaces with seating
-There is an angel perch located in the rafters

*Tower:
-Great views of the entire island [turn up your draw distance under Edit Preferences>>>Graphics>>>Custom>>>Draw Distance to see every sim of Erie]
-I highly recommend walking the ramp rather than using the tp to see
the stained glass.

*Grounds:
-Front of church:
-Herb garden with gardening animation
-Stone patio set under willow tree

*Back of church:
-Campfire
-Seven Seas fishing system & vendor
-Greenhouse - there are several clickable items around here
