Gray doesn't remember much from her human past.  The longer she is vampire the less she remembers.  She was turned forcefully and remembers a struggle, but when she woke up she was alone in the slums of Paris. She felt empty and emotionless.   And she was blind with hunger, instinctively without even understanding, like her body was on auto pilot, she attacked the closest human.  It wasn't difficult, she could smell everything within miles, and the sweet smell of human blood invaded her senses. Her teeth knew exactly where to bite.   As she drank she realized it was more than just nourishment.  She was taking creative energy and emotion. She doesn't have to kill when she feeds, though she can.  Without blood, Gray feels nothing.  Feeling nothing is unbearable.  She needs it to feel alive.  She will do anything to get it.  If she's hungry enough, she will manipulate, lie, hypnotize, steal, or fight for it.  She will figure out your weakness' and use them against you.

Her appearance changes quite often.  Different energies and emotions from the blood she drinks inspire her to change her hair, clothes, and make-up.  Her eyes are always gray.  She will draw you in...be careful.

Gray has a hard time trusting anyone.  She woke up alone, forced to fend for herself and figure out all that comes along with being a vampire.  She has no family she can remember.  She wishes she had a mentor, or even some friends, instead of having to figure out her newfound skills on her own, but she's been managing on her own for some time.  She is more likely to trust females.  Even though her human memory has faded, her vampire memory is strong, and she holds grudges.  If you cross her, or insult her, or make her feel vulnerable in anyway without her consent, she will remember and take revenge.  She wants to find a family.  She wants to be loyal.  She tries, and hopes that she will find her niche on Eire Island.

She is tired of Paris and wants to find a new home.  She's hoping to find a place to fit in.  She read about Erie Island in a small newspaper and decided to see it for herself.
