URGENT: MISSING REPORT

Posted 03/07/2010 by Sadie Winterwolf

The esteemed chairwoman of a most generous organization; Sadie Winterwolf, has been reported missing, presumably kidnapped after the recent violent and aggressive attacks made against the charity organization, Muricastle Trust. The Trust has been responsible for many projects and kind acts that have turned Erie Isle into a better place to live for everyone. Their continued kindness for the poor and homeless have ensured that many of the people’s suffering has been eased.

Needless to say, it is imperative for the continued smooth running of the Trust’s most noble projects that Ms Winterwolf is returned safely to her family, and we implore anyone with any sort of information to approach the trust mansion, or any of its members who eagerly await word of her.

A reward for her Safe return is being offered at $100,000.

Letter to the Editor: EISD Fiddles While Erie Burns!

Posted 02/23/2010 by Christos Dressler

So, standing outside the courthouse building lastnight, I hear and feel a major explosion, as did several others, seemingly from the South end of the Isle. Being a curious person, I investigate. Holy crap! The entire second floor of the AI labs was on fire! A call was made, and yet none of the fire, police, medical or even those nosy vigilante Brigaders showed up. Until it was too late.

Here in this picture, taken by myself at the scene, you can clearly see Lt. Choi and her current distraction, also of the EISD, standing around doing nothing. Typical. Not long after the picture was taken, the pair left for parts and reasons unknown, not bothering to even TRY and put out the blaze.

People of Erie, these are the individuals we have who are supposedly 'Serving and Protecting' us all. Just the latest episode in a long line of failures. How long are we going to put up with this?

Putting on the Glitz

In a shocking show of social grace, Erie transformed itself into the Big Easy.  Mardis Gras came a little late but with no less flavor to our dark little isolated town.  The isle held two parades and each was followed by a party complete with cajun music.  Several factions and groups placed floats in the parade and contributed to the festivities.

After all the beads were thrown and the parties died down, this is when voting for the best floats commenced.  It was truly a test of the discerning eye of our populace.  The floats were festive spectacles and no easy task picking winners.  in the end Brigade, Twilight, and Aeon Institute place as winners.  The town really got behind this chance to show its social grace and provided a nice alternative to the activities usually taking place here.
